We’re excited to be playing our first in-store gig, at Lewes’ Union Music Store, this Saturday at 3pm. It’s free and it promises to be special, so do come and see us if you’re about.
Talking of free and special, on Tuesday 12 we’re playing an acoustic gig at Bom-Bane’s in Kemptown, Brighton, with support from Guy Hayes. It’ll be an intimate gig with decent food and booze, so come hungry!
Finally, anyone listening to Radio Lewes on Wednesday afternoon may have heard Matthew interviewed by Vicky Smith, who gave over a generous chunk of her show to the interview and a few of our tracks – thanks Vicky!
If you missed it, it’s available as a podcast here, while you can keep up with future episodes via @RocknRollLewes on Twitter.

We’re having a quick breather before the next couple of gigs in March. The first (Sat 9th) is an in-store set at Lewes’ legendary Union Music Store, and the second (Tue 12th) an evening at Bom-Bane’s restaurant in Kemptown, supported by Lovely Guy Hayes™.
Both are free acoustic gigs where I won’t have room to swing a drum stick, so I’ll probably be revealing my inadequacy on the cajon. We may also have to ration Charlie to just, say, 10 of his favourite instruments, and Matthew to 90 of his favourite decibels.
In the meantime, if you’re on Facebook you’ll find a set of pictures from last Wednesday’s gig at the Latest. You can also ‘Like’ our page while you’re there if that’s your sort of thing.
We’re excited about the imminent arrival of our first Brighton gig, at 7.30pm this Friday (7 December) at the Coach House in Kemptown.
We’ll be playing with the smashing Guy Hayes and the mysterious New Rib. There are no tickets but the venue will be taking donations at the door.
Note that it’s not the pub in Middle Street; it’s up near the hospital:

It would be great to see you there x
We’re delighted to announce our return to the beautiful Buttercup Cafe in Lewes for a Christmas gig on Saturday 15 December.
We’ll be playing two acoustic sets featuring tracks from Eucatastrophe, some new songs and one or two surprises. Full details and tickets are available now from the event website, www.smallshipwrecks.co.uk/xmas.
If you can’t make it, don’t forget we’re also playing with Guy Hayes at the Coach House in Brighton on Friday 7 December. We’d love to see you!
We’re pleased to announce our first Brighton gig, on Friday 7 December at The Coach House in Kemptown. It’ll be a mostly acoustic set in an intimate venue – join us!
Also playing is the lovely country blues guitarist Guy Hayes, who sounds much like this:
We think this gig’s unticketed, possibly with donations on the door, but we’ll update this post if we hear otherwise.
